Ghost Cases bought by True Visions in Thailand
The Toronto-based international TV content production and distribution company Breakthrough Entertainment announced that the company has closed sales in Asia-Pacific for over 300 hours of its documentary, factual, kid and animated programming. Nat Abraham, VP of sales & acquisitions, made the announcement.
Kids' programming sold to the Asia-Pacif area includes animation series Dino Dan to MTV (New Zealand) and Toonieverse (Korea). Fishtronaut was acquired by Korea Digital Satellite (Korea), TVNZ (New Zealand) and True Visions (Thailand). The Thai cable operator also acquired the rights to the series My Big Big Friend and The Mooh Brothers, which was also bought by TVNZ. Breakthrough Entertainment factual and documentary programming has also been sold in the Asia-Pacific region. Fox International Channels (India) acquired Greatest Tank Battles and David Rocco's Dolce Vita. LIC Beijing (China) purchased Greatest Tanks Battles and Crackberry'd: The Truth About the Information Age. Beyond Distribution (Australia) acquired DVD rights to Greatest Tank Battles. GBN (Thailand) acquired Beyond Medicine, Future Medicine, Situation Critical, Little Miracles and Patient Files. Coign Media (Korea) purchased Plastic Makes Perfect and Creo Content (Korea), Combat Forces. Plus Media Partner (Korea) acquired the rights to both Future Revealed and Countdown to the Future. And True Visions (Thailand) bought The Future Revealed, Countdown to the Future, The Re-Inventors, Ghost Cases, The Truth About Shoplifting and Crackberry'd: The Truth About the Information Age.
